First Look: Bloody Christian Bale ‘American Psycho’ Action Figure (2025)

Christian Bale’s unhinged character Patrick Bateman from American Psycho is getting a new “blood splattered” action figure from specialty toy company Super7.

Bale, of course, stars as the demented serial-killing New York City investment banker in the 2000 film adaptation of author Bret Easton Ellis’ controversial 1991 best-selling novel American Psycho. In addition to Bale, American Psycho stars Reese Witherspoon, Justin Theroux, Chloe Sevigny, Josh Lucas and Willem Dafoe.

Directed by Mary Harron, American Psycho went on to become a cult classic, inspiring the creation of such merchandise as Super7’s Patrick Bateman 3 3/4-inch tall ReAction action figure that was released in 2024.

The 2024 figure featured Bateman in a plastic overcoat to prevent his suit from getting bloody after committing his dirty deeds. Now, in an exclusive first look, Super7 is releasing a 3 3/4-inch blood-splattered version that depicts the character in the aftermath of his heinous crimes.

The carded action figure features the Bateman figure and his axe, plus an illustrated portrait of the Bale character from the film. The card itself appears to be blood splattered, as does the card back, which features a Bateman’s business card that can be clipped out to display with the figure.

The new blood-splattered Bateman American Psycho figure will go on sale on Monday. Get the first look at Super7’s blood-splattered Bateman action figure below.

In an exclusive statement, Super7 founder and owner Brian Flynn said the figure captures what Christian Bale’s iconic maniacal movie character is all about.

Super7 has produced retro-style 3 3/4-inch characters from the worlds of classic movies past and present, TV series, real-life musicians and sports figures. In addition to American Psycho, some of the company’s movie figure lines have included classic Universal Studios Monsters (Frankenstein, Dracula, The Bride of Frankenstein, The Creature from the Black Lagoon, etc), Nosferatu, The Planet of the Apes, Godzilla and This is Spinal Tap.

More recently, Super7 has produced figures of characters from the classic Maurice Sendak children’s book Where the Wild Things Are and has produced deluxe figures of the title character from the animated film classic The Iron Giant.

The “blood splattered” version of Christian Bale’s Patrick Bateman action figure from American Psycho will go on sale on Monday.
