Edale Mountain Rescue Team Called To Help Affected Labrador After Dog Feels Well While Walking

The Edale Mountain Rescue Team was called to the Fox Hagg area above Rivelin Reservoir by South Yorkshire Police officers at around 1:14 p.m. yesterday (5 August).

Jess the Labrador had become ill and was unable to continue walking but, due to his location and weight, his walker was unable to bring the dog back to the road.

With the help of the rescue team, she was transported to a more suitable location outside the woods and is now recovering at home.
