Several fire crews battled flames from a large blaze that threatened to spread to nearby homes.
A large field and grass fire broke out near the caravan park at Grange Country Park this afternoon.
Crews were called to the scene at East End Lane, East Bergholt, Suffolk at 12.06pm.
Two crews from Colchester battled the flames this afternoon alongside crews from Ipswich East, Woodbridge, Princes Street, Holbrook, Felixstowe, Needham Market, Hadleigh, Nayland and Sudbury.
No one was injured in this incident.
A Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: ‘Thank you to our colleagues at Essex County Fire and Rescue Service and the general public for their support during this incident.
“We will be on site for at least the next hour to manage hotspots and make sure they are safe.”

Group manager Lee Wilkins said: ‘Unfortunately the fire at one point was moving towards some of the residential properties.
“I am very happy to say that the crews worked extremely hard and succeeded in stopping the fire and preventing any further spread to residential premises.
“Unfortunately, some outbuildings and sheds were affected by the fire.
“Please avoid the use of bonfires and portable bonfires where possible and be careful when throwing lit cigarettes out of car windows and littering.”
