Liverpool arrive at Anfield with a bus on FIRE ahead of the must-see Premier League final against Wolves

The LIVERPOOL team bus caught fire on its way to Anfield for Sunday’s game against Wolves.

There was an electric atmosphere outside the ground as the bus rolled through a cloud of red smoke.

The fire caused extensive damage to the roof of the team bus

But a photo taken by one of the supporters present showed a small fire on the roof of the vehicle.

The fire had created a small hole just below the club crest, but players and staff were unaffected.

Thousands of fans had gathered outside the pitch to greet the Reds when they arrived – as has been the custom for Liverpool’s big games in recent years.

Fans created the whole atmosphere with raucous chants, many waving flags and flares to mark the momentous occasion.

But despite the support, Jurgen Klopp’s men got off to the worst start imaginable as Pedro Neto fired the visitors in front within three minutes.

The Reds need a win to be crowned Premier League champions and will be hoping Manchester City get it wrong at home against Aston Villa.

The Kop was also a spectacular spectacle before kick-off, with the Anfield faithful also waving their boys off to Paris next week for the Champions League final.

It was also the first home game since Liverpool lifted the FA Cup last weekend after beating Chelsea.

Liverpool responded well as they fell behind against Wolves, dominating their visitors before equalizing through Sadio Mane.
