Liverpool company fire breaks out as teams rush to the scene


Firefighters rushed to a Liverpool business after a fire.

The Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service was called to a business on County Road in Walton at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28.

After teams arrived just five minutes later at 8:20 p.m., they found a fire at the company’s door.

Fire crews worked to put out the blaze and enlisted the help of Merseyside Police.

Images sent by an ECHO reader show that a section of County Road was closed while emergency services worked to put out the blaze.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Fire and Rescue said no one was injured in the blaze and everyone managed to escape “safely and in good health”.

All fire trucks have now left the scene with remaining officers.
