A WOMAN who went missing from her North Yorkshire home has been found, police confirmed this morning.
North Yorkshire Police had raised concerns for the welfare of a 21-year-old who was reportedly reported as a mimic from Malton, North Yorkshire yesterday morning.
The force appealed to the public for information that could help locate her.
Police search teams, assisted by the NPAS police helicopter and a mountain rescue team, had focused their attention around Dalby Forest, Thornton-Le-Dale and Pickering after his car was located in the Forest.
This morning, a member of the public, who saw the call, recognized her and was able to contact the police and help get the woman to safety.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: ‘The 21-year-old woman who went missing from Malton yesterday was found this morning by a member of the public.
“The woman is safe and healthy and will now receive all the help and support she needs.
âThe member of the public who found the woman had recognized her after seeing the call last night.
“Thanks to everyone who shared the call.”
