The LIFESAVING gear was donated to a Winnersh-based search and rescue charity by a Bracknell-based tech company.

Redwood Technologies Group supports Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue (BLSAR), the leading police search and rescue resource for Thames Valley Berkshire.

Highly trained volunteers use specialist skills to search for vulnerable, high-risk missing persons.

The donation will allow the purchase of a certain number of specialized and light defibrillators.

Sean Taylor, CEO of Redwood Technologies Group, said: “Although we are a global company, we ensure that each of our offices around the world supports the local communities where they are located. 4

“We in the UK are proud to have been established in Berkshire for nearly 30 years and delighted to have helped dozens of local voluntary groups and charities during this time.

“BLSAR performs mission critical work for Thames Valley Police and as a charity is highly dependent on contributions such as ours.

“We are very proud to be able to support the valuable activities undertaken by BLSAR.”

And Paul Chapman, administrator of Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue, wanted to thank Redwood Technologies Group for their support.

“We rely on donations such as those from businesses in the Berkshire area to continue our work for Thames Valley Police, and would like to encourage others to consider donating or volunteering alongside us.”
