The drivers of the Sonko Rescue team emerged victorious from the 2021 4by4 Challenge championship held on August 21 and 22 at Champagne Park in Kipeto, Kajiado County.
The expert category duo of Zain Shakal and Taaseen Ganatra won the overall title after collecting 740 points ahead of rhino charging pilot Pater Kanyali who finished second with Bartoz Mohamed sealing a 3rd place.

The off-road competition that made a comeback after a two-year hiatus due to the covid-19 pandemic drew a number of entrants across all three categories.
Organizers led by Competition Liaison Officer George Obama said it was a successful event with many participants who missed out on competing against each other.
